House is 'best character of the decade'

Medical maverick Dr Gregory House has topped a list of the greatest television characters of the decade.
The role - played by Hugh Laurie on Fox's house md season - beat Lost villain Benjamin Linus (Michael Emerson) in the TV Overmind poll.
The wire dvd series's Omar Little (Michael K. Williams) took third place in the list.
Other characters to make the top ten included Arrested Development's Tobias Fünke (David Cross), Lost dvd series's John Locke (Terry O'Quinn) and Fringe scientist Walter Bishop (John Noble).
No female television parts appeared in the list.
